Construction and Development Management, Inc. (C&D) is a full service Design/Development and Construction Management firm. We currently provide various design and development consultation, project management consulting, and general contracting services. These include, construction cost estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and constructability review of design documents. We also assist owners in selecting architects and engineering firms, as well as negotiating their contracts.
At C&D, quality encompasses the entire building process, from land acquisition, required approvals, preconstruction through administration, building, close out and warranty. We are committed to superior workmanship, knowing that long after the work is done, our project must speak for itself.
C&D specializes in customizing its services to meet the individual needs of each project owner. Depending on the type of project (e.g. Commercial, Residential, Sub-division, New Construction, Basement Finish, etc.), C&D will outline the services to be provided in a manner in which the owner can feel confident that the project will be completed so as to meet their scheduling and financial goals. C&D has the philosophy that a successful collaboration between the owner, designer, general contractor, and sub-contractor is the key to a successful project.
Douglas (Doug) L. Bolejack
President

Doug has been in the construction industry for 30 years. He holds a Colorado class “B” license and a Supervisors Certificate, as well as, a California class “B” license. Doug is highly experienced in new commercial and residential construction, ranging from tenant finish, custom homes, and sub-divisions. His experience also includes land development, acquisition and design consulting. His expertise lies in project management, contract negotiations, scheduling, permits and code compliance, as well as, engineer and architect selection.


Charles (Chuck) S. Micale
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Chuck has over 18 years of operational management experience. His areas of expertise include budget administration, investor relations, project development, marketing, staff development and productivity, P & L responsibilities, as well as, strategic partnerships and customer service. While Vice President of an International retail chain he gained extensive experience in commercial real estate, site location, lease negotiation and construction supervision.


Melissa Husome
Project Coordinator

Melissa has 7 years experience with C & D and responsible for the management of invoices, updating/research and tracking of purchase orders. She has 15 years of experience in administration and customer service in both the civilian and military arenas. Her background in office management includes maintaining numerous programs and projects, including both while in the Air force and in the private sector.


Melissa Follett
Accounting Manager

Melissa has over seven years experience in construction accounting, including both subcontractor and general contractor elements. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.


Ryan Cook
New Business Development

Ryan graduated with an Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, School of Architecture and Planning. He quickly accepted a design position in Michigan with a respected full service remodeling company with a reputation for high-end custom design and construction. After several years with the company Ryan was promoted to VP of Operations, responsible for all company operations from design to a completed project. Ryan’s remodeling knowledge encompasses all aspects of the trade from design to construction including but not limited to estimating, scheduling, architectural design and quality control.
 

Bridget Cook
Design consultant

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado. Originally from Michigan she returned home post graduation where she worked for a full service design build firm for 4 1/2 years. Missing the sunshine and mountains she returned to Colorado to work as a Design Consultant for C & D Builders. She is responsible for collaborating and strengthening the contract preparation process, by determining products, specifications & providing budgets. She also assists the sales department to acquire new business development procedures. Last, throughout the use of the new design center she coordinates with each customer to determine material options, interior & exterior color selections, flooring, countertops, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, paint & lighting in a timely fashion.


Asia Nazareno-Whittington
Office Manager

Asia has over ten years of management experience. She has worked for Architect Companies, General Contractors and Subcontractors. She has plenty of experience in office administration, Accounting, estimating and safety management. She earned an OSHA certificate from AGC and was a safety officer for a general contractor company. Her builder experience varies from single-family homes to 55 million dollar hospital buildings.


Glenn Zakett
Site Superintendent

Glenn has over 20 years experience in high volume production building for both residential and commercial applications. Glenn has worked with some of the nations largest builders and supervised the production of hundreds of residential units annually. The commercial experience includes such projects and contracts as: Fitzsimons, Buckley and Lowry Air Force Bases, Rocky Mountain Arsenal, and Pueblo Chemical Depot. In addition to his extensive Construction Management experience Glenn also holds a B.S. in Business Administration.


Devin Kerr
Site Superintendent

Devin has been in the construction industry for 22 years in both the residential and commercial fields. He received his Construction Management Degree from Colorado State University. He has a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Devin has 5 years experience in managing basement construction, half of that time for his own company.


Jason Yost
Site Superintendent

Jason attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering from University of Nebraska Omaha. He has been working in the construction Industry for over 10 years. During that time, Jason has developed a broad based knowledge of all types of construction due to his experience working for, and with, a variety of different contractors and trades. He has project management and estimating experience in civil, residential, and commercial construction. Jason has been responsible for all types of projects, ranging from residential remodels to multi-million dollar infrastructure rehabilitations.


Joshua Pollitt
Site Supervisor

Joshua has 9 years in the construction/maintenance field. Joshua has worked with multiple major hotel chains in the engineering department. He has excellent troubleshooting and communication skills that he learned through the maintenance workplace. He has spent the last 2 years working as an assistant through C&D Management, Inc., building custom homes and town homes throughout Colorado. Prior to his time as an assistant, he owned and operated his own professional painting business for 3 years, and acquired 6 years painting experience. Joshua has a High School diploma with a graduate GPA of 3.96 from Del Valle, Texas. He also attended 1 year at Austin Community College before his move to Colorado.


Donnie Shultz
Site Superintendent

Donnie has over 30 years in the construction field. Have been in the trenches digging footings and forming foundations and performing every aspect of residential building. Experienced at running backhoe and other heavy equipment. Six years of residential Supervision, scheduling sub contractors from staking of lot to closing. Have had as many as 25 homes under construction at one time. Spent many years performing residential and commercial maintenance. Worked hands on tenant finish projects and have extensive experience on many rehab projects.


RJ Zamparelli
Assistant Site Superintendent/Quality Assurance Manager

R.J. is a native of Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1972. R.J. retired after a successful 30-year career with the Department of Justice. He entered the private sector in 2001 in the construction and remodeling business. R.J. possesses general knowledge in all phases of construction remodeling.
